"Maya" literally means "to measure", "to evaluate". Who am I? What is the universe? What is the source of all the phenomena, of all that appears? The evaluation depends on knowledge, which is always incomplete. Therefore, the evaluation, the measurement, is "what is not". If one takes the idea, the concept, as the truth, one is living under illusion. That is why the word "maya" is related to illusion. Without this illusion, there in absolutely no separation, no division. The form and the non-form, the manifest and the unmanifested are the same life-consciousness. The source never ends, never dies. Is it not because of this that, by reflection, we cling to life, that we don't want to die?

In a manner of speech, simply put all the religions beyond the construct of time were brought forth only to divide and rule the masses, sort of a tug of war in between various civilised tribal men and women who eventually got sophisticated and the true crux behind every religion got lost in words and more words and even more words in all world languages beyond the notion of time, place and space. The only thread that connects the knots across all world religions is the very aspect of being aware of the present moment for the sake of becoming aware of the present moment in the here and now beyond the notion of names and forms and beyond the aspects such as consciousness, subconscious and superconsciousness where concepts such as salvation, nirvana and enlightenment all that abides in the present moment which can only be experienced in absolute silence of the present moment in the here and now. That’s about it and this is the summary of all world religions put forth in simple words and beyond that abides only silence that can be experienced by breathing in and knowing that you are breathing in and breathing out and knowing that you are breathing out while abiding in that very silence in the present moment here and now.

One possible solution for eliminating suffering may be to realize consciousness transfer from biological systems to artificial systems both for humans and animals. Further than that maybe to hack the rebirth cycles system working behind to free sentient beings

All the content of mind exists in the physical brain. Memory lost is one of those example. When we hit a person on his head or if he has some kind of accident by which his brain doesn't function normally then he/she is no longer the same person. It is well established now that all the memories, impressions, experience, personalities are there in the brain. And when the body dies then the brain is also dead which contains all your beleifs, dogmas, memories, knowledge, experience, personalities and everything. So the only residue is the dead material.

Namaskar, Swamiji. I have been listening to your many lectures. This one is particularly thought provoking. I am struggling to understand the following to imbibe the Advaitha principle. You had elaborated painstakingly the metaphor about reflected consciousness. I understand that the mirror is just a mirror, reflecting everything in front of it. The river or water is just that reflecting the trees , birds etc.. Using these metaphors, you are trying to make us understand that the all pervasive consciousness is the only thing that reflects every thing. I have a confusion here. The mirror reflects only objects that are actually there. If there is nothing, then there is no reflection. Similarly, if everything we perceive, see, hear etc., are illusions and don't really exist, then how are they reflected? Also, the reflected images in a mirror can not communicate or act on their own. But we do!! I know I am missing something seriously. Please clarify my confusion. I am not able to rest my mind without this understanding. Thank you. Hari om.

Utopian nonsense. Has never happened and if you want it to you have to convert them into some Hindu sub sect atleast under the umbrella identity. Want example. What has happened to your own order and those who follow it in Bangladesh? And what do you think is going to happen to those in wb in the next 100 200 years. Please stop fooling yourself and especially fellow Hindus they have suffered enough.
